Confused and Excited
What are you still confused about regarding the library space and/or
library services? What, if anything, are you still confused about
regarding the course? What are you most excited to do or learn this
semester?
The library provides many services that I utilize. I suppose if I am confused about anything regarding the library space and/or library services it is how to use databases to the fullest extent. I know how to use them, I just do not know how to reference them or follow a citation to that reference. I hate the idea of "taking their word for it" when I can see proof. Sometimes people reference an idea or theory that is completely separate from their topic but share a small common detail that was not the overall theme to the paper.
What I am confused about this course is if it will teach me to see a book on the topic of my choice and know if it will be worth the read or not. How am I supposed to know if this book is useless in my research? I am a slow reader so this information would be nice.
I am most excited to better prepare myself for my senior year. It will be wonderful to know how to access all my resources and use them to create a wonderful senior project. Getting into my field of study (psychology) is exciting. It is my passion. I truly hope this class does help me achieve greatness during my senior year.

About me
A little about me: My name is Kayla Ciliberto. Ciliberto is Italian, not Hispanic. I live in Bremen but I was born in Atlanta (both Georgia locations obviously). I am rather blunt and optimistic. I am friendly in general but, like most people, I am shy at first. I am introverted and studying psychology in hopes to become a child psychologist with a focus on the development of communication. I am taking this class because I am seriously considering being a research psychologist and I felt this class could prove to be useful in that pursuit. I wish I knew more about how children begin to communicate with their caregivers. Fun facts: I am the oldest of three and I take on a lot of responsibility without thinking. I currently work at Papa Johns, and I recently learned about this Blogger application! That means I can type this on my phone and submit it on time. Isn't that wonderful? This application will make the deadlines much easier with my busy schedule.
